The long wait is over… Friday 26th saw the delivery of a rolling chassis from AK Sportscars to what is to become my workshop for the next two years!
Thanks to Mick from Micks Auto Transport for taking such good care of it, delivering it early and being so very competitive with the price!
Not an awful lot done as delivery day seemed an excellent excuse for a party, so most of the weekend was taken up by eating, drinking and recovering. However, I did manage to get the chassis into the garage, fit the draft excluders on the doors, unbolt the body from the chassis and setup the security camera: Unfortunately I didn’t have enough assistance to lift the body shell off the chassis, sounds like another excuse for a party to me…
