She’s back from the paintshop and boy does she look good!
Now it’s time for a very careful re-build of the brightwork, lights etc. I also need to modify one of the exhaust headers which won’t seal properly so there’s going to be some very careful engine bay work coming up, GULP.
I used Darren from 355 Peterborough (AK’s paintshop) and I must say they have done a top job. The only very minor criticism is that the stripes are painted on top of the base and clear coat, so you get a noticeable ridge along the side of the strips. Certainly not a deal-breaker, but if you’re particular about these things, speak to them before you place your order.
The colour I chose was the Ferrari Titanio Silver 704C with Ford Moondust stripes.
A massive thank you to Anthony from Absolute Horsepower for yet again transporting the car up and back to Peterborough – service with a smile!
